Landscape photographer Michael Ash-- a new member of FAA-- has had one of his images published in the December 2014 issue of Popular Photography Magazine. The image, Cascade Creek to Hidden Falls, is being used by Popular Photography to help promote their Mentor Series of a June 2015 workshop in Wyoming.
Mike Ash has been a photographer for nearly four decades and has photographed sites in various locations throughout the world but spends most of his time concentrating his art in the American Southwest and western United States. As an avid fan of the outdoors, he has captured everything from the earthy grace of the multi-colored sandstone from the Native American lands of northern Arizona, to the blistering yellows and reds of the Utah mountains, to the enthralling power of the Pacific Ocean off the coast of Oregon.
